School Rules

For the Students :

  • a) Students have to attend the school regularly in proper uniform. Irregular attendance and late reporting must be avoided.
  • b) They should behave respectfully with the teachers and the other school staff and among themselves in a dignified manner in and outside the school.
  • c) Students must bring the Student’s Handbook daily.
  • d) They should keep the classroom, school building and the surroundings clean and throw waste paper and other litter in the dustbin only.
  • e) They should take care of school property and the school garden and under no circumstances damage them. Any intentional damage will be immediately recovered from the concerned student/students. Parents have to pay the damage.
  • f) They should move in a disciplined and orderly manner, silently, in a single line
  • g) They should always be smartly dressed and ensure that their shoes are polished
  • h) They should obey the class monitor, the teachers and the Principal always cheerfully.
  • i) This school being co-educational, the boys will always be polite, gentle and courteous to the girls.
  • j) No books other than prescribed or library books or magazines will be brought to the school until and unless permitted by the Principal, in writing.
  • k) Students are forbidden to wear costly ornaments or items in the school. School will not be responsible for any loss or theft of such articles
  • l) Students should complete the home assignments in time as neatly and tidily as possible.
  • m) Students should refrain from being absent, Continuous absence for more than 7 days may result in their withdrawal from the school. Such students may be readmitted at the discretion of the Principal after paying the re-admission fee of Rs. 200/-.
  • n) Any student who commits breach of discipline and is found guilty of gross misconduct may be removed from the school by the Principal, without any prior notice.
  • o) The school reserves the right to suspend or initiate action against a student whose conduct and behavior is harmful to the other students or detrimental to the good name and image of the institution or likely to create rift amongst the students.
  • p) Students must show the school diary to the parents and get it signed by them whenever asked by the class teacher / subject teachers.
  • q) Proper body care and high level of hygiene must be maintained by the students.
  • r) Students must put on the school IC on the left side of the chest. Students must attend the morning assembly regularly.
  • s) During lunch hour they should take their lunch inside the class without spilling or dropping food-items on the floor or furniture.
  • t) A student will not leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal. However the student may be permitted to leave only if written request from the parents is sent to the Principal. Telephonic requests will not be entertained in this matter.
  • u) Mobiles are not allowed in the school premises.
  • v) There will be half day (till 11.30 a.m.) for students on the last working day of every month.


For the Students :

The school expects the parents to extend fullest co-operation to the school for the efficient management of the school to facilitate the education of their wards.
Parents are requested to go through the school rules (for the students and parents) and the information contained in this hand book and abide by these.
  • a) They are to provide text books, stationery, uniform, shoes and other related items, in time, to their wards.b)They should send their wards regularly and punctually to the school and check the progress of their wards often. In case they wish to suggest some improvement in the school they should not hesitate to intimate the same to the Principal.c)Wearing of uniform is compulsory for all the students, whenever they visit the school for any purpose.d) They should intimate to the Principal if a child is allergic to a particular drug or any other thing, or has any medical or such problem that needs particular attention on to the child so that due care can be taken at the school.e) They should sign properly the progress report card, the students hand book or any letter sent to them and return it to the school in time.
  • f) They should ensure that their wards attend the school in well polished shoes, clean and well ironed uniform, tidy hair cut and trimmed nails and high standard of personal hygiene. Socks and Handkerchiefs should be washed everyday.
  • g) They should attend parents’ meetings regularly and cooperate with the school for better performance.
  • h) They should avoid criticizing or passing comments on the school staff in presence of their wards.
  • i) They should be polite, respectful and civil to the school staff.
  • j) Student suffering from a contagious / infectious disease should not be sent to school unless declared fit to attend the school by a doctor.
  • k) Parents should make it a habit to go through their wards’ hand book and take timely action as requested by the teachers. They should encourage and help the students to study at home and complete homework. It is always better if a good time table is given to the child for his studies, entertainment and other day to day activities.
  • l) Parents are welcome to school and to see the Principal at appointed time but they are not to go directly to the class or meet the teachers there. If they wish to see a teacher, they can do so with the prior permission of the Principal.
  • m) Since the children are in growing age, parents are advised to provide wholesome food rather than some tidbits or junk food to their wards.
  • n) In case of absence of the child from the school, they are supposed to send an application along with the ward informing the reasons and circumstances for such absence.
  • o) All important information and notices will be sent to the parents through the students diary/ notice.
  • p) Girl students (class VI & above) can wear civil salwar suits on their birthdays.
  • q) Our school teachers are forbidden to take tuitions of students of our school. Therefore, it is imperative that you may please not engage our teachers for giving tuition to your wards. A serious view will be taken if this request is over looked.
  • r) Kindly pay the fees and other dues in time. (Information given in Appendix B)
  • r) Please do not hand over cash, valuables or jewellery to your ward.
  • s) Parents are free to purchase the text books, stationery and uniform from any firm/store but they have to ensure that the cloth is as per the specification (mill and shade no. and the pattern). (Page 30) – Any uniform not conforming to the school colour and pattern will not be permitted. Parents are advised to ensure this before purchasing. A specimen of dress is displayed in the school.
  • t) Parents are to ensure that their wards are in possession of valid driving licence and then only permit them to drive a vehicle.
  • u) TC will be issued only after clearance of dues. Fee for the month in which TC is issued will have to be paid by the parents.
  • v) Our teachers are not supposed to accept any gift / present from the student. Please do not send any gift / present to the teacher.
  • w) Visiting Hours : Principal : Any time on working day. Teachers : with the permission from the Principal. OR By Appointment
